How did you do the horns?

_{I carved a base out of styrofoam (it's this kind from michale's [link])
Then, I put something called joint compound which is used for drywall, sanded them, painted them, and then hot glued to a headband.
Please don't ever hot glue them to a headband, not only will it look ugly, your horns will fall off your head and break.
I highly recommend using these tutorials on how to attach them to your head without them breaking/falling off.
